Continental Drift

Continental drift, a scientific theory, refers to the movement of continents on the Earth's surface. Taiyo Onorato and Nico Krebs, for their book produced in collaboration, travelled from their home country of Switzerland to the east, towards Mongolia, photographing parallel shifts in tradition and identity in the expansive land between Europe and Asia.

Since time immemorial, love has been seen as something boundless as well as a means through which we ourselves can escape our limits.

Exposure

Exposure is a term that commonly refers to perceptibility and vulnerability. Through his use of black and white film, Kazuma Obara (b. 1985, Japan) makes a double entendre of the word that challenges our perception of this terminology as he portrays the life of a girl named Mariia who was affected by the 1986 Chernobyl disaster.
